Tried extracting a PPD file from Brother's Print Driver for Linux (deb).The chromebook said printing was successful, but nothing ever came out of the printer. It looked like they were going to work: the printer woke up and indicated it was receiving data. First tried selecting some of the "generic" printers that were preinstalled on the chromebook.Chromebook discovers the printer but isn't able to automatically complete the setup.Testing Native Printing to Brother MFC-L5900DW from Chrome OS version. Here are some notes from my recent experience. If you have some tech skills and are comfortable looking inside a PPD file, it might be worth exploring a similar approach for your Samsung M2070FW. I had a similar issue with a Brother printer and found some success using PPDs I extracted from Brother's print drivers for macOS and Linux (deb).
